Not new to the hobby, but new to building up my AX10. I got an AtomikRC ESC on a suggestion from a local shop and it's got a terrible pause and double tap to reverse. I'd like to get an ESC that doesn't have that but serches aren't amounting to much. What's a good ESC that doesn't use the pause to reverse? Novak Crawler? Castle Creations? If there's some specifics I'm runnin a 35 turn Tera crawler motor. Any other specifics needed to make the right decision? Thanks!

Im running tekin fxrs in my xr10... and just got a holmes brxl for my wraith...

Id buy a holmes over anything else on thd market

I have a Castle Creations sidewinder and it works great. Plus it's cheap-ish. Or you could go with a sidewinder micro.

just curious, did you check to see if that esc has multiple profiles?

scratch that ? if it is there brushed 320a its not programmable. the fxr is nice and small with great settings

I like my xl5 but I do hate the double tap reverse

I went with Sidewinder Micro's in two vehicles to get rid of that delay. Very happy with them.

I like my sidewinder. No delay reverse, pretty good drag brake, and water resistant.

I run the mamba max pro esc on all my stuff. Crawler reverse on some double tap on others. Plus it can do sensored brushless for later on when you want more power.

X2 mmp. Can handle anything you can throw at it

Yeah, but can your wallet handle the MMP? Sidewinders are half the price and the micro sidewinders are a little cheaper than the full size sidewinder, just smaller.
