I just picked one of these motors up to put in a wraith based rock bouncer and I'm wondering what voltage I can run to this without any chance of damaging it? Also what would be.an idea esc to use? A brxl?

Brxl, I run 3s, but not for very long runs, 2s if your going to do long runs, they do run hot, gear down and volt up

I burnt my 7T Cobalt with 2S in a Wraith when rockcrawling with steep climbs and a lot of stops and tricky slow climbs. Gearing was 16/87. Would go down to 13/14 t on the pinion and avoid a lot of tricky superslowmotion uphill driving on steep steps. |

I was thinking of staying down around 10-12 on my pinion, and running underdrive diff gears, I will be running an ax2 trans so I can keep my gearing low for any technical stuff and then pop it into second gear for higher speed running.
