Default Elite 4500mah SC

Anyone running these? I just ordered 8 of them from Cheapbatterypacks based on their performance graph and the price. They look to slightly out peform the IB4200s as far as continuous output.

I'm running them in my onroad cars, and they are great! Tonnes of punch, and excellent run times.

Using the initial slow charge formula, C/10 gets you a 450 mah charge for 14 - 16 hours.

You should bump up from the .2 to .4 for 16 hours , or maybe .5 for 14 hours.

True, but I started them at 1:30 AM and won't be home to check them till close 6 PM tonight. So, I'll see how they did. Thanks for the reminder on the formula, though.

My guess is they might not even be close to 4500 mahs.

C/10 = charge rate for ~14 hours

4500/10 = 450

4500 = 10 * 450

2000 = 10 * 200

Tack on another 1000 mahs, you're still a little shy of 4500.

the new generation of cells like more amps
1C initial charge is ok
they dont like discharge lower than 1V per cell !
thea are good cells for racing , but i think you will kill them in a crawler

I am running these, 6 cells brick pack on my clod seem to be a good battery. Long run time i get about an hour and 15-30 min all depending on how i am driving.
