|  Brushed Motor Wire Lengths
I've spent about an hour searching and have not seen anything definitive. What I'd like to know is whether or not the wires that connect the ESC to a brushed motor must be of the same length? The reason that I ask is because of the way that I am routing my wires. If I run wires that are the same length, I will end up with unsightly excess near one of the terminals. That and 13Ga wire isn't exactly easy to wad up and stuff into an already over-crowded space.

X2 the length doesn't matter so much as long as you're using the proper thickness wire in the first place. IE don't run 8" of 18 gauge to the motor.  |

Wire has resistance so you don't want an excess amount if you don't have to have it..The longer it is the more resistance it will have in it....can cause loss of power and create more heat. Cutting wire down is not a bad thing to do just don't do that with a 2.4 antenna wire...lol |
