Default "big Dx6 Headaches"

Ok I have a DX6, Mamba25, Revolver BL, and canot get anything to work? I tryed a difrent Radio/rec and I could atleast get the Mamba to somewhat program. Why can't I get anything to work with my DX6?:-( It acts like it's not binding to the REC, I've already sent it back once because of the same problem and they were supost to fix it they said it was a bad REC and sent it back with a new one and nothing....

It acts like the ESC is interfearing with the bind prosess, Can I bind it with just a rec battery pack nothing else hooked to it? What ESC and application is your boy using his DX6 for?

you can bind it with only a battery pack hooked on your receiver, i did mine (dx2) like that.

Good news! I finaly got it to bind. Now I may have some ESC problems. It smelled like it was getting hot prety quick. I've never ran a Mamba25 so not sure how hot is normal.

I know there's an issue with Mambas and Spektrum, but I also know that they can and do work together. I think you need to bind with an rx pack. After that it should be fine.

I got it to work after using the rx pack to bind the radio, then I hooked everything up and started to program the mamba to make sure it was working.

I've been using a DX6 with my Mamba/Revolver combo since...well...the first brushless Clod was built.

I pre-programmed the Mambas using the CastleLink.

Install the bind plug into the AR6000.

Plug the Mamba to the batt.

Turn the Mamba on.

Hold the bind button on the back of the DX6 and turn it on. Continur holding the bind button until it flashes.

Wait and watch the LEDs on the AR6000...when it goes solid you're good.

Remove the bind plug and crawl.

Whis I could have found some info like this few months ago when I first bought it. It is up and going now though, thanks. I sent you a PM a while back asking about a dual esc setup on your clod but never got a reply either, could still use the help if you could?
