Exclamation bec needed?

Hi guys.
I was out crawling the last few days and my car keeps turning off? Only when im in full steering lock and full throttle. Its really annoying! Then my intergy brushed 55t started smoking!
I do have a new tekin 35t but don't want to fry it lol.
Esc is a tekin frx? And servo is servo safe. Any ideas. Bec? What one?

A Castle Creations BEC will solve the intermittent turning off when your steering and gassing it at the same time.

The motor smoked probably because your gearing is all wrong or your motor was incredibly dirty. What is your gearing? Also, what battery are you running and what vehicle do you have?

EDIT: I type entirely to slow...
sounds like you do need a bec. Castle 10A should work fine.

what has me concerned is that smoked motor.

could have been caused by the frequent power drops, which would be fixed by adding the bec and the tekin motor you already have.

could have been the motor going bad causing issues in the esc, and therefore shutting down power to the truck. new motor and bec should fix this as well, but would question whether esc has been damaged in this case

could have been an issue with the esc going bad, dropping power and frying the motor. motor and bec wont fix the esc, and could fry the new motor too

then it could have just been a little dust in the motor that caused the smoke (if it was very light smoke) and you just need a bec

Also my motor sounds very loud now. But only under strain. Its possible its dirty as I go through deep mud and water. But I always clean it after a run in water or mud

The bearings don't like that at all , May want to get yourself a new one of those when you make your order.
