If its truly 100kv thats your problem right there the park 400 I have is a 940 kv and I run it on 7 cells with a quark controller.Another thing is what gearing are you running?

Specifically, what motor?

A LARGE Outrunner turns more than 100kv

Brand and quality of motor tend to have a huge say in how the system works. It took me a year to figure that one out, although it should be common sense.

What motor? (x2)

What motor X's 3

I'd say you need a motor with more nads. The jim dandy I'm fixen to run doesn't lack much of hitting 1000kv rpm/v What motor and how many cells?

Well, the motor itself weighs less than 1.5 ounces. I would say a larger motor will help you out a lot.

What exactly is it doing though? Stalling out a lot?
