| Resolder antenna on Futaba R2106GF
So I managed to rip off the antenna on my Futaba R2106GF receiver After lots of Googling, I can't figure out exactly where it was originally soldered. All the pics I found have a blob of rubber over that point where it is soldered and there are two possible points as seen below. Anyone know which one (or both) is the solder point? Thanks! |

Are you sure you only need one solder point? Most 2.4GHz antennas start as a coax cable with a shield and have two connections. But some are very short and don't have the shield. Either way figure out which pad is connecting to a large copper area, this should be the ground and would connect to the outer coax shield. The other would be the signal. If you still can't figure it out then experiment, only your soldering can damage it. |
