| V-tail or Evelon Mixer I have a 4 Channel Attack Radio (LINK) that I would like to play with this winter, because I am thinking about a DX6. The radio is a plain jane 4 channel radio with no mixing or EPAs. I will be using it on a Clod w 2x ESC (1x Front & 1x Rear) I want to be able to steer F/R with the left gimbal, and control F/R ESC with the right gimbal. Here is the tricky part.........When I push the right gimbal forward I want both F/R to go forward, and visa versa for reverse. When I move the gimbal to the right/left I want some digging action front & rear preferred, but I take just front only. Which one of the mixers would be the best choice, and why. V-Tail mixer at Tower Link or Evelon mixer at Tower Link I know a DX6 is the best choice, but I am not sure I want to go to a 2 stick radio and $15 is a pretty cheap experiment. |

Fishy, I have my Laser4 setup to do just what you are talking about but I can not remember which setting it is on. I will check and let you know after work although I am sure you will get an answer by then. |

Either works. The only difference is the left/right mixing. As long as you can reverse a channel you are good.

| The Great Planes mixer was recommended over the GWS mixer because of quality not function I may look around some for other types of mixers. (I found 1 article on making a custom mixer) Mechanically there is not much to them |

If you get a DX6 all you have to do is enable V-tail in the menu. Either of the two you listed will work. |

I used a V-tail mixer with the dual SR setup. It'll work fine. Not really an issue. |
