| Drop-in gear for Hitec 645mg?
I have now stripped the metal gear in the 645mg twice, both on bad falls/rolls. This is on a SCX10 that isn't heavily modified. Otherwise this servo works well for my needs. Are there any other gears that I can replace this one with? Note this is not the aluminum gear nor the plastic or nylon one, but the metal one (unsure exactly what it's made of). I searched and couldn't find any results of people using another gear. I don't want to keep buying spare gearsets as the next purchase will mean I've spent as much on spares as the original cost of the servo. |

the 645 just dosent have the power and your just going to keep stripping gears, and there are no other gears to replace except the ones that are in it. save up and get a better servo, beats replacing gears all the time. 15 bucks a pop for replacement gears add up quick |
