| best 3 channel radio
hey guys whats up, i want to get a new radio and esc combo for my losi, converting it to a comp crawler and thinking about doing the dig trans and need to upgrade the radio. i dont know much about any brands or what to stay away from, but i really want something that doesnt feel so cheap like the stock radio. and maybe something with rechargable batteries and a lcd screen or something easy to change around

I use a Futaba 4PK, in my opinion there is no better radio.

X2 on the 4PK being the best radio. I whole heartedly agree, I have had mine for 5 years. They are pricey, but totally worth the investment. A little overkill for just the Losi, though. Really depends on your budget. 4PL is a great radio for less money. It will also serve you well if you want to go MOA. If you are looking for just a 3 channel, with the Losi you will need a 3 position 3rd channel. People have had good success with the Spektrums, I just did not like the feel. Hit a hobby shop and put them in your hands. That is what did it for me. |

Futaba has great radios along with Airtronics and Spectrum.

Hacked GT3B from Overkill RC. Easy to setup and has 8 channels. I love mine. I had no trouble setting it up for my 3-position dig. It cost me $50. You really can't beat that.

Airtronics MT-4...IMO....This is the best radio for the money, yes Futaba is marginally better quality, but for the price and capability there is no better radio than the MT-4.....look into it i feel if you are into the RC hobby and want to maximize your dollar to get more than look into the MT-4..FYI think they are on sale for less than 200, new.

A hacked GT3B with all the fixings is remarkable for the price.
