Default Siamese motors.... :D

this is something i had never thought of, but they have made it work with great results...

'Siamese 8' Dual armature series-wound (200+horsepower). What used to be two separate 8 inch electric motors, is now one custom built motor that's 25 lbs. lighter, 7 inches shorter, and more powerful.

and they are in this beast..

Best ET 12.151 @ 106.25 mph! 1/4 mile

Nothing too special about it really, just a double stacked armature.

If you want more power, your best bet is to get a motor with neo or real cobalt magnets.

brushed or brushless, and how much you want to spend? Brushed "540's" start around 70-$120. Brushless motors are pretty much all neo magnets. The size and quality of the motor will determine the price. Park 400's bolt up with some thinking, and I sell a few sizes of large bolt on outrunner.

Brushes are gay, throw them out the window and unleash the horsepower!

Big outrunners are where it's at if you want power.

I still want to try the counter-rotating coaxial outrunners

But they're $1200 for the pair, plus I'm not really sure what to do with 'em anyway
