Default Damaged motor com

My HH motor started playing up and when I took it apart I found this, is it bin fodder or can it be saved?

Cheers

Save it how tho? I've got some new brushes on the why but don't know if they will make any difference with the chunks out of the com, the motor does run tho, it just seems down on torque and sometimes it just won't run

Yea it was get very hot as well, it looks like the chunks have gone right through to the inner core part, so don't think it can be skimmed :( in the bin it goes.......

Question, Did you ever do any maintenance on it? Did you run it through a lot of water?

That com looks like its been abused to me.

You can take the comm to a lathe. Looks like you might have to take a bit off of it to save it, but it will be worth it. Just takes a lot of time and patience.
