Default Axial Simple LED Light Controller/BEC Question

Hey all, I am trying to wire my wraith and I have a question about wiring up the axial simple LED light controller. Where do you plug it into on the receiver if I am going to run a BEC also? Wouldn't the spot where you normally would plug in the LED controller be taken by the BEC? Can I plug the LED controller into the bind port on the receiver? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Solder the wires from the light controller to the wires from the BEC where the BEC wires connect to the ESC.

Then you only have to remove the red wire from the ESC, and then plug the BEC into the Battery port, ESC into channel 2 and the servo into channel 1
