Default MG995 X2... voltage regulator amps??

I am planning on running a moped ESC with two MG995 servos on clod axles, with 7.2 volt battery input. My question is will a 1 amp regulator handle one of the servos (running the other off the ESC)? Should I parallel the regulators for say 3 amp and run both off of the battery and leave the ESC seperate from the servos? Yes I know the ESC only has a 5V BEC compared to the 6V I would be running with the regulator. I was just looking for some input on this since the search did not quit answer what I was looking for.
Thanks, 64DUECE
