Default Traxxas EVX

I wonder if you can put two 8,4V or two 9,6 batteries in a Traxxas EVX without it'll break?

I think they can only handle up to 14.4v look on towerhobbies.com and it will tell you the specs at the bottom of the page.

All the evx's I've checked stop at a max votage of about 22 - 23 volts.
Mostly use 5 cells on the esc/servo plug and the balance of the 5-16 cells on the dummy side plug. That is 5-16 cells total. The esc/servo side can take at least 8 cells if that's what you want.

Yes, you can use two 8.4 volt packs with an EVX. Check e-bay or any battery supplier for e-maxx battery packs and many of them make a E-Maxx pack with 7 cells. I have a couple sets myself and have used them without any issues. I don't know about 9.6 though cause I've never used them.

sorry, I try again. Seperate the two connectors to speak voltage.

The connector that powers the esc/servos can use 6 - 12 volts

The other side (dummy side) can use 0 - 16 volts

Put them together in any configuration for a total of 23 volts

The best configuration is to use the 5 largest cells on the esc/servo plug and then use the balance of your cells on the dummy side plug. I like to use 5 + 12 or 5 + 11 or 5 + 10 or 6 + ??

rkrawler and floogldood, thank you very much for the answers!

kweezy, I know, my English is farly bad. But it's not so strange, bearing in mind that my mother tongue is Swedish and that I don't got good marks in English in the school.

By the way, your English is not perfect either!
