MPI makes a adjustable voltage regulator that handles up to 16V input. I use one with my super rooster and 2 1/4th scale digital servos. Here is a link to there website. http://www.maxxprod.com/mpi/mpi-21.h...lt%20Regulator John Robb Holmes brought to my attention that the more power you put in this regulator the lower the output is, but with my 11.1v lipo's ( more like 12.6v fully charged) the steering power is AMAZING! Now the only problem I have with steering is the crazy twist the servos put on my axle tubes! |

To power 2 1/4 scale servos would the 10 amp continuous of the $20 6 volt regulator be enough or would I need the $35 adjustable one for 15 amp continuous power?

1/4's suck alot of juice, I had to wire my rear servo to the regulator and the front I left powerd off the rooster. If I had more time I would have ordered the one racerx has, I like the adjustment feature. Either way depending on how you wire the novak reg you'd be fine with the 2 batts. Just wire it off one batt To get the power from both batts you'd have to open up the esc and solder the reg up inside there. It'd be alot of work just to smoke a regulator. Actually scratch everything before this. What im asking is what do i need to run 14.4 volts and two servos? An EVX can handle 14.4v but the bec is only like 1.5a; the TR2 has a 5a bec but cant handle 14.4v. What do i do? someone please help me

Your only options are a switching voltage reg- around $40 per 3 amps BEC, or a RX pack. It would me MUCH cheaper to just run an rx pack for your servos.
