| 2 Mamba Maxx's
How do you wire up to Mamba Maxx's so you can have front and rear digs. Since I have my other crawler sold. I'm going ahead and getting two M.M..'s...I'm just wondering how to wire this mess up. 2- Mamba Maxx's 2- Motors 2- Servos 1- 8 cell pack Radio Gear- VG6000 6-Channel I know how to wire up your basic rig, but throw in 2 RX packs and and 2 4 cells packs, servo's and 2 ESC...I just get confused... A Drawling or Diagram would be the best. I'm one of those guys if I see it. I'm good to go. I'm wanting Front/Rear Digs and 4WS. Thanks Last edited by run2jeepn; 04-04-2007 at 06:33 PM. |

you wont need any rx packs with 2 mambas maxx's or even 1 just the 1 - 8cell would be enough to run it all very well. Id run the servo's off of a tapped cell in the 8 cell and each motor/ esc will plug into its own channel and each servo into their own channel. you basic setup is exactly like 2 seperate 2 channel rigs

Didn't goat run into troubles doing a tap on an 8 cell main pack? Seems like I remember reading about it. I was gonna try it but I run 8 cells so I steered away from it.

after thinking about it Id actually run 2 7 cell 2/3A 1500 packs, one on each axle for each setup. 8 cell is not needed and run time shoud be around 30 to 45 minutes

I would go with one receiver pack to be safe.

I forgot to add I running 5955TG servos. Thats way I choose RX pack. I heard they would kill my runtimes. Is that wrong? Well Since I have these packs anyway. Might aswell use them. I should be get Killer run times anyway. If they are ran just like a 2 normal rigs. How do you do the throttle. I would understand the steering, but the throttle part doesn't make since to me. |

each throttle is on its own channel. your stick radio has 4 channels 4 basic fucntions on the sticks 2 on each side both side to side is steering on both axles and both up and down is your 2 throttles one front one rear and ID still run 2 small 7 cell drive packs and ditch the 8 cell. remember you only have one servo on each mamba not 2

Is there no way I can have the throttle all on one channel? That seems like it would be super hard to drive. Or maybe I would just get used to it. I really don't feel like getting rid of these packs. There brand new. They are Sub-C IB3400mah packs. Maybe I could just build 2 8 cell packs out of them then. Then I would only be wasting 2 cells.

It is the reason for running 2 ecs's in the first place. if you dont want that option just run one maxx and wire the motors together and one batterypack and one RX pack for the servos

Ok I see what your saying now. How is Clod Stall with dual ESC's? I guessing there really isn't any. I guess I just need to learn how to drive it. I went with 8 cell for a little more wheelspeed. Thanks a million

I'm running 8 and 9 tooth pinions. I could run 2 8's also. I'm guessing I just use a Y-Harness to connect the 2 ESC into the RX? Oh and the Packs were made for the knuckles.... I had 2 five cells packs for the front axle and 2 4 cell packs for the rear.

Let me see if I have this right. This is two esc with two battery packs and no RX packs. I may have the channels wrong. |

I'm running 2 MM's,2 3013's, 2 5955's,1 8 cell 3600, I would not recomend relying on the bec to run those servo's, they are too much! As for throttles hook your esc's to the throttle and rudder channels and mix them. That way u can have both throttles on the left stick, steering on right. |
