Default Weak MG645??

I am running a TXT with dual steering and dual Hitech MG645's. I run a SR and LST's on maximizers. The problem I am having is the even on smooth rocks the servos will not turn the tires until I move. I have an extra reciever pack and was wondering if I should use it for more juice or if I just have too much tire. Thanks for any input.

I dont think you have too much tire - just not enough servo
Im my experience the 645s are mediocre. They do ok and are fairly inexpensive, but are not that strong, and gears seem to strip easily.
I would try the receiver pack and see if it helps, but I think in the long run you will be looking for better servos.

Yeah with your setup you need a servo at least in the 200oz. range.

Ok thanks. What is a good servo in that range or should I jump to a 1/4 scale servo?

Are you using a servo saver? The highest torque servo you can find isn't going to do any better with a weak saver.

Hitec 5955 has over 300 oz of torque cost 115$
You probably need to run a rx pack with these

Keep in mind though, digitals are better off if you have EPA's on your radio.

I run the 359's and love'em.

You should make some mounts and run some giant scale servos. I run the Hobbico cs-80s on my clod and you can't stop them.

343 oz-in of torque for 30 bucks!

I have the same set up with the cs80 and also run a rx pack. This servo moves those size tire with authority.

I had some hitec 1/4 scales but sold em. They were crazy strong. I was just trying to keep a small serco. I have a rx pack so I guess I will step up to the cs80.

645MG's aren't good for much. Sell them now before they strip out, and you have to spend $15 each just so that you can sell them. I've got a 5995 in my Clod and love it, but like they said, you need EPA for digital servos. If you are on a tight budget, and can fab the mounts, I would seriously look into the 1/4 scale servos.
