| esc switch
I am in the process of waterproofing one of my clods. I plan on sealing the esc and rec. in a plastic servo box. My question is can I just position the switch to the on position and seal it up in the box? I figure it will just power up when I plug in the batterys, or could this damage my EVX? |

I don't see how it could hurt anything. Sounds like a good idea to get better waterproofing.

I rarely turn my esc switch off. It wont hurt anything leaving it turned on.

You could also remove the on/off switch all together and solder the wires together. This way you won't have to worry about the switch. When you want to turn your truck off just remove the batteries.

Thanks for all the input, I'll probably just turn it on and seal it up.

Yeah, the switch on my MOPED fell off too, I crimped the wires together, and it's never failed me.

I have not a single esc with on/off switch. I hack em and solder em together first thing.
