| Mamba 25
I have a issue with the mamba 25 and a 1050kv brushless set up, running thunder power 2 cell lipo.................. No matter what settings I use it still seems to stall on a test climb up the wall unless I use lots of throttle. I cant seem to creep up it at all. Using a 12 tooth pinion 87 psur and a t-3 trans with tlt axles Settings are ....high start....0 timing...low something (cant remember, brain fart) 0 drag brake this seems to be the best but buy far not perfect or even goodfor that matter. What elso should I try ? Devlin |

Found this in the brushless sticky: http://www.holmeshobbies.com/Common%...%20crawler.dat Do you have the Castle Link? If so, load that profile and see if that helps. It's the default profile that JRH loads on to each ESC he ships out. |

If that doesnt work, call and email Castle to ask advice on it. It sounds as though the mamba 25 wont hold the high pole count motor in one spot. They could adjust the programming a bit to suit us rockcrawlers. ;) ;) My second guess is that your motor is too small for the vehicle and it is constantly stalling out at a creep. What motor is it exactly? My third guess is that the Lipo isnt keeping it's voltage under load, and the motor is stalling out because of that. Do you have any 2/3 A cells to test with? |

it's a 400 motor? You definitely need to be running a 3 cell LiPo for the 400 parkflyer size motors. 7.2/7.4v is not enough especially with that high of KV motor. Gearing is fine. Maybe can go to a 90T spur for a little more help. |

I am not aware of the pheonix programming being compatable with the mamba controllers. The USB interface works for all controllers though.

| http://www.castlecreations.com/downl...beta_info.html scroll alllll the waaaay to the bottom of the page... And that crawler profile I linked earlier doesn't have to entered manually. Just save that file to your computer, fire up the Castle Link software and then click File > Load Settings and browse for that file. |
