Default Servo wiring to receiver packs

I have serched and not come to a good answer.

I have a DX-6 , 2 mamba max's, 2 hitec 5955's.

I would like to run each servo off of a receiver pack. What would be the best approach to this?

Right now i have one esc bec powering my receiver, and 2 receiver packs plugged into a y harness and hooked to my receiver also! It seems to work but i know i'm pushing it!

I have tried just plugging power and signal to the servos but can not figure it out!

If I am not mistaken...

Red + battery
Black - Battery
White = signal wire to receiver.

The black wire must go to both the -batt & rx.

Why are you only using 1 bec, you can use them both to get double the amp draw. I do this on both my super and 2.2, 6 amps total, it runs 2 1/4 scales on my super and 1 1/4 and a 645 on my 2.2 with no problems. I don't know what your esc's are rated for so it might not be enough for your app.

Dtp- that is how i had to do it!

Crazy jumper- i am not using my bec's to power servos because that is not enough power for me, i like one 6 volt pack on one servo, lots of power! My bec's are suposededly 5 amp but we all know how that goes!

Slorocker- I tried just using the signal wire, that would not work! I ended up using 2 y harnesses and dissconected the power at the receiver!

One problem, now i have 3 battery packs!

Well atleast you got it workin. I do have one servo powered off the reciever still, might be why the rear works without the ground to the reciever. Who knows.

Your BEC on 6 cells of main pack is 3 amps 5 volts. With both esc's turned on you get 6 amps. It should be enough, but you could always have more.

There are so many ways to wire this up. Are you wanting 2 receiver packs for the runtime?

On this same subject,

First issue:
I have my TXT with 4WS. I am using 645mgs with a Novak Super Duty. It turns the wheels but only very slowly or when I am moving. Should I add a Receiver pack on that one? If so, do I just plug it in or is there something more I need to do? I read somewhere that you need to pull a wire or keep the power switch off on the ESC.

Second Issue:
On my SW2, I have a single 645mg with a Super Chicken. The tires will not turn if you are sitting still. I can turn the steering...it will stay straight until I start moving. Is this a need for a Receiver Pack also? If so, I guess the same question as above.

Thanks,
John

hard wire the red and the black directly to the reciever pack and just send the white one the the reciever. that way you only have the battery that is powering the reciever going to the reciever

Rockcrusher, you need stronger servos.
