|  Do I really need 4ws?
I've been lurking here for a little while and decided to build my first crawler. I'm still gathering parts but I have a question about 4ws. I'm building a TLT based rig, so do I need it. The reason I ask is because I already have a spektrum DX2.0 for a T4 that I race. Obviously it won't work for 4ws but I like the radio and if I could just get a second reciever and be done with it I will. I just don't want to buy the reciever and a week later wish I had rear steering. Any thoughts?

I would never buy a 2 channel radio. It's seems you will always need at least 3. You can use the 3rd channel for front digs instead of 4WS'ing. I'd get a readio with more channels and be done with it.
