Default Winch waterproofing

I am thinking of getting a winch but I want to fully waterproof it. Any one have experience with a winch or waterproofing one. Any help would be great

a lot of winches are brushed so they are already technically waterproof. the winch controller can be plasti dipped, conformal coated ect.
