Default lipo question

I will run a mamba max/hyperion 3025 combo in my super crawler and im totaly lost in what lipo i can run??

Will this work http://cgi.ebay.com/RC-Lipo-6000-Bat...QQcmdZViewItem

Or this http://cgi.ebay.com/PolyQuest-Lipo-L...QQcmdZViewItem

I would like to run 11,1v and around 4000-6000 mAh lipo to increase wheelspeed and runtime. But as i said, im totaly lost in this. So please can you help me with this.

AND yes i have searched but i didnt get smarter for that.

Both packs you have up here would work, the first one is only 7.4 volts so the second one is what I use and I like the extra wheelspeed given by the extra volts.
The thing you want to look for is discharge rate, the higher the better but you don't need to go crazy either. I run a 15c 3s 11.1v common sense pack in mine. Hope that helps you out.

It is the discharge rate im worried about.

I dont know what discharge rate im need for this setup.

That is the question!

The average discharge rate you will need for the motor is 25 amps per hyperions's specs. I havent gotten a chance to actually test the real world amp draw in a super though- I bet the average discharge is very low but the burst current is pretty high. You can probably get away with a 2100 10C pack even. Both of the packs you pointed out are more than sufficient.

First I have some more Q's for you. What rig you running? (Clod, TXT...)
What motors? 55t, 65t... and what servos you running?

I wouldn't use anything less than 15c pack for a super so anything 15c or better (higher number) Mine only has 2100mah capacity and will power my clod NN with 55t's, 9t pinions, 2 1/4th scale hitec servos for an entire comp. Usually 3 courses and a little bashing at the end of the day. So the 4000 to 6000mah would give you crazy runtimes, you will probably get bored or break before the pack dumped!

JRH knows this sh!t better than me, so... WHAT HE SAID^^^^^^.

I just realized what the Hyperion was (motor DUH!) Like JRH said, either pack you listed will work, but for more power go 11.1V and hang on!

I have read little about voltregulator's now and im little confused.

1: If i choose to run 3c li-po do i have to unmount the red cabel from the esc to the reciver or does the esc handle that voltage . Or will esc bec go nutz on 11,1v. And use a servo regulator to supplie the servo with power.

2: Or should i only left the signalwire from the esc and plug in the volt reulator direct to the reciver and have the voltregulator to supplie the reciver and have the power to the servos go true the reciver.

Need help about this. Electric wire is not my strong side

:EDIT: i searched for volt regulator but i havent find anyone that can handle 11,1v input. Only find input range 4V -8.4V.
:EDIT:
