Default brushes or brushless in a water/crawler rig??

For all of you that like to swim your rig in water and play in the mud but still have a good functional scale crawler, which type of motor do you recommend is better for that kind of setup? Brushed or brushless? I ran a lathe before but not long enough to know or see the affects of water/dirt. I want to go brushless but am not sure of how a brushless motor will hold up in this type of situation

brushed like Astro Pullmaster (the 05 size) or Astro 035 7T
or coreless like Faulhaber 28xx 32xx or 35xx series
99% dust and waterproof

I'm not sure about outrunners, but in-runner brushless motors hate water.
