Mike, some people have been having issues with the TR2 BEC, like frying them. A guy at the WARCRC comps has been running a Novak Super Duty with 2 hitec 5995 robot servos no problem off of the 6volt/3 amp BEC. I know you have like six servos in your rig, just kidding. What are you doing?

Yes the Mamba Max is another good option, and you can program it for all kinds of stuff. It can also handle 100 amp continuous. 180* is good if you like driving upside down with your front axle HAHA or driving on the roof with one axle.

Works for brushed or less! High amp bec, programable, drag brake, etc....
I would expect to pay around $150 for this bad boy but if u shop around u will find it cheaper!

Yeah Mike, let me know when we can get to moon rocks. A buddy of mine and I would like to crawl there. There is also going to be a comp scheduled there in the spring, as a few of the guys from the WARCRC club have wheeled their 1:1's there and are familiar with that area. Can't wait for the snow to melt!!!!! I've heard SR is a good esc.

The SR is a great esc. I ran them exclusively until I got a mamba max. I sold all my SR's and now I just run the MM. It is smaller, lighter, more capable, programmable, etc.

Excellent collection of ESC's jrh.

I would also highly recommend the Mamba Max ESC. You just simply won't find something more capable for the $ of the MM. You also get the luxury of having a programmable LVC just in case you decide to run Lipo's.

I have gone through a very large amount of esc's, and that pic was taken to highlight the best for crawling IMO. It also compares sizes very well.

how do the Mamba's stand up to moisture compared to the Rebel or Rooster? I,m not talking about submersion, just random flung mud and goo?
