Default Can't seem to find instructions for holmes hobby motor

I just bought a holmes hobby 35t expert motor for my wraith and can't find out how to solder wires on correctly. There's 4 leads coming off of the motor but a little confused. Just to add I'm using a holmes torque master brxl esc.

You solder 1 wire to the 'red' side and one wire to the 'black' side.

you will have 2 unused tabs. its just to have some options for where you want your wires to be.

So either tab that will fit best one wire on the black side and one on the red side correct? I know this was a stupid thing to make a thread for but I couldn't find any info on it.

Unfortunately for me my LHS was kind enough to solder some leads onto my HH TorqueMaster Expert for me but they used two opposing tabs that are probably the worst choice for motor placement in the chassis.

Oh well, made it work.

You could easily desolder the leads and resolder them on in a more convenient location. Even if you're not very comfortable soldering, motor leads are a great place to start.

Could also bring it back to your LHS - bet they'd do it for free.
