| Where to buy Hitec 645 case
After crawling yesterday, I trashed both of my servos. The front bluebird servo smoked and quit, and the Hitec 645 would move to one side fine, but then the other it would go about halfway and then CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK real loud and fast and not move. I took it apart, and the gears are just fine, but there were some parts of the outter case cover that are broken. It's hard to explain it, so look at the pictre. You see at the top where the splined shaft goes through, there are broken off peices on the left and right that were floating around inside the gears. So wheres the best place to buy a new case? I saw servo city has them. Do you think this wil fix my problem? I sure hope so. And has anyone tried to get a warranty replacement through balsa for the bluebird servo? Thanks! |

It looks to me like the metal gear is stripped. See the fancy red arrow. Also the grease on the case looks like it has a gold tint which is a good indication of stripped metal gears.

Sonofabitch. Your right badger, that gear is stripped. Thanks! Twisted, you can stick that case up your ass! |
