|  Opening a DX3?
I need to open the case on my DX3 to do some surgery on it and I need to know if the antenna comes out or needs to before attempting to split the case halves. On the XR2/3 radios, the antenna needs to come off to open the case, but the DX3 has a different style antenna and I don't see how it comes off...

you can split the cases and unhook the wire from inside. It just snaps off the board. Just be gentle and you'll be fine.  |
