hello everyone, I'm builing up my first clod crawler and have a question about radio gear.I plan on using my JR xr3i I had from my nitro days and 2 jr 650 servos and receiver.would I need to purchase any other equipment to make everthing work for the 4 wheel steering???

Thanks for the help

Only problem with the XR3i is that you can't run independent rear steer with it. Right now I have a XS3 and a XR3 and I use the XR3 for my crawler because of the 3 position switch for the 3rd channel

Yes you can use 3rd channel switch for rear steer on the XS3 but it is a 2 position switch not a 3 position switch like the XR3 has. With the 2 position switch you don't have independent control of the rear steer.
