| ESC and Motor combo
I am getting a SW2 crawler and want the Integy 55 turn lathe motor. I can't find an esc that is a reasonable price right now. I saw the M.tronics Viper RV Max esc and was wondering if it would work? It is a little bit much but since it is waterproof i would buy it. It says no motor limit but i want to make sure before i buy it. If there are any other esc's that will work then i'd appreciate it if you suggested them. I'm trying to find an esc around the motor too, not a motor that will work with the esc. And i did use the search button but i might have missed something. Thanks.

Doesn't the moped have a motor limit of 35 turns or something? I was looking at that for a while but i saw the turn limit. I was also looking at the lrp quantum plus waterproof esc but it has a motor limit too. Will it matter if i go past this?

I have ran a Moped with a 65t, Dual HT servo's no problem. Some have ran it on clods with dual 65t's and Dual servo's. I'm testing out a XL-5 ESC that come with the new stampedes. So far it's pretty good. Better then the Moped by far. Very smooth control and as a Brake. No sure how good the brake is yet. But everything seems to be woking as planned.

Do you think that the lrp waterproof esc is a good one? I don't plan on running underwater. I have a creek and just want to make sure that if i flip i won't fry anything. I know how to get the other stuff waterproofed too.

I'm thinking about going with the moped esc now because it is the cheapest and seems to work good. Has anybody had any problems with their shipping? I live in California so does anybody know how long it will take to arrive? Thanks.

Hands down,Mamba Max. The drag brake alone is worth it. Plus, you can run brushless or brushed and you can hook your rig to the computer and change all your settings. Moocho bettero ESC |

Hey guys I had a Moped V16R on my TLT 55T. The only thing was the pause switching from reverse to forward. It got a little annoying and actually cost me a couple of reverse points at the last comp I was in. (I had to tap reverse in order to continue moving forward) My friend had some ideas of some things I could try to eliminate the pause but alas I'm selling my TLT. If I were to build another 2.2 I might use another moped but I'd probably research how to get rid of that annoying pause.
