Default receiver pack vs regulator?

I am running a regulator but my run times are still the same as without the regulator.Should i try areceiver pack?I also have the regulator set for 5 volts:-(

going with an rx pack would technically lenghen your run time, but its probably not noticable. only upside of the regulator is a weight savings.
your servos will perform the best with 6v, not 5
