Default mini lst which li-po battery?

Does any one know what would be the best li-po for a mini lst? How many volts Can the stock esc take. I want to switch over because I run li-po in the rest of my cars and want to get some more speed out of it.

You can't run a Lipo on the stock esc because it doesn't have an LVC(Low Voltage Cutoff). I hear that a Thunder power 1900 will fit in the battery tray. There are external LVC's out there like a LI-SAVER, but it's better to just get a brushless setup because you might ruin the stock esc with a 2s lipo.

Just get brushless. I have a Mini-T that has a Mamba 8000 system, well is going to as the ESC did not come with it, and I'm going to run a 3cell lipo. Also, if you do get lipo, don't be cheap about it. Get a really good brand.
