I got my DX3 the other day too. I don't play on using the servos unless I have to. I seen a thread on another forum that says who their made by and then Spektrum just throws a Sticker on it. Not sure, I can't find the thread right now.

I personally will be using a JRz9000t for my steering. and a 9000S for my throttle/Break.

I used the 590 that came with my DX3 for rear steer on my TXT since April. It is only 80 oz. in. torque. I wanted more power so I replaced it a couple weeks ago. The little one that came with it is steering my 1/18th Nylint, and works fine for that. The 590 might be alright for a 2.2 class rig or a scaler.

I think so but I have not tried to make a winch yet, do it and we will both know.

I think CRF450 is using his as a winch, may want to ask him.

I turned the high torque one into a winch. I would say it has just slightly less torque than Spaky and Benders Hitec 645s. I use a snatch block with it and pulls me anywhere I want to go. It has all metal gears also!
