Default Axial NVS help

Hey guys, anybody have a Axial NVS? I was wondering if there was a way to power it off the BEC or pretty much any other way besides the main power source? My reason for this is one I don't use Tamiya style plugs I use Deans, two it already is connected to the receiver by the throttle and steering inputs and I'd like less wires so why can't it get power this way. I'm running a CC BEC with a RX bypass wire that plugs into the steering input on the reciever, and has a plug for the BEC, lights, and my servo to be powered by the BEC. I would like to power the NVS through the Rx bypass

Hey, what's up wacmartin. You could try soldering a male, and female deans plug together, then solder the NVS power leads to the connections between both plugs. It's how Heyok supplies some of his electronics that require direct power, like the "no brainer BEC".

Hey what's going on, I was thinking thats the way I'm going to have to do it. Just hook it up normally but put Deans connectors in place of the Tamiya connectors. Man do I ever have a mess of wires though!

Its how I send power to my BEC, and its how I'd've sent power to my winch controller..... As soon as I aquire a 4ch rx/tx combo.
