Default Servo Info I've collected.

Alright. I'm getting ready to build a super so I wanted to do some servo investigating. This is a list of Servo's that I found which had higher oz/inch torque then the Hitec HS-645mg.

The prices listed above are about how much I found them for on ebay. This is new prices as well. I probably wouldn't bok at buying a gently used servo but some might. If the discount in price was right anyway.

I was just hoping to get some opinions on my list. Escpecially the kinda off brand servos. like the Cirrus and the MG995 TowerPro. I actually used the towerpro servo in my TLT and wasn't disapointed. But I'm still a newb so there's a lot I don't know about alot of these. Are there any pros/cons other than the oz/in rating and metel gears that I should be watching for?

I think for the front axle I might get the best I can find. 333oz/in type servo. For the rear axle I might try out one of the other servos.

My nephews used this one on his Twin Force and it works great. Quick response. 333 oz. @ 6V. 260 oz. @ 4.8V. I'd suggest it for the price. You need to have enough room to mount it though. It is about twice the size of a regular servo.

Tom,
For a Super you want as much or more on the rear steer, the reason is that when on steep climbs most of the trucks weight is on the rear...

And it is a waste of money to try and use cheap servos on a super..

I use the 94358s on the 2.2s and I think thats barely enough.

call me and I will get you the hook up on the 5995s
