Hi I am new to rockcrawling, So please be kind. My question is I have found a junk Blade CP helicopter. But the radio; 5ch. and 4in1 receiver still work can I use this setup for my rear steer e-max to get it to move independently |

Thats a tough one, the radio most likely has mixing in it for use in the heli, but it may be use able. The only way to know for sure is to find someone who has set one up, or get it to try and see if it works.

First thing you need to find out is if it is legal to use on the ground based on the frequency. Even if it's not some can be modded to a ground frequency. |

I tried that with that radio. The problem is the 4 in 1 unit will give you tuns of problems and doesnt really work .Plus that is an aircraft radio so it's on 72mhz not 75 or 27. Your better off just buying a 4ch radio.

Gah, I completely missed the frequency issue, I was thinking it was the new spektrum based radio out of the cx2.
