Either 55t with 9t pinion or 65t with 13t pinion.

65 turn and 13 tooth pinions was too fast, and too weak in my Super with Giant Tracs.

I tried 55 lathes for the first time on my current super rig... 9 tooth pinions, 8 cells, and too fast for me. Going back to 65 turns. |

You have a set of both in your crawlers......and need others to tell you which is better???????? Everyone likes a different set up. IMHO,you should run your trucks and see what you like best. Some guys would not like running my truck cause it's to fast,IMHO,it's perfect......for me With a 2 horsepower outrunner,63:1 ratio and 9 cells.......I swear I've seen my XL's smoking at times It's all in personal preference | |
