Default nite ize headlights

wired up two nite ize aa maglite upgrades for headlights today, the work great except one side is noticeably dimmer than other. Wondering if any one else has tried this setup with similar results or not or if it might be a bad led array. Two units are wired in parallel from single 2.4v source. idea inspred from miniwheeler on his blue-rubi build in scale rigs.any ideas thnx

I found some little blue led's at walmart that are called finger lights with a little velcro strip on them to hold them on your finger I took the velcro off and servo taped them to my chassis for rock lights. They have 3 diffrent settings blink fast blink slow and stay on.Heres what they are.

I have the same thing. They wouldn't really fit all the places I wanted to run them so I'm going to use the wiring and controls. that way I can have the strobe effect on headlights, rocklights, and bumper and rollbar lights. Maybe even through an LED or 2 inside for interior lighting.

try scrapeing the solid wires on the nite-ize led lights with an x-acto blade to make shure you have a good solder joint

Just put a pair in the other day. The color of one is lighter than the other but not noticeably dimmer. I am using a 4AA pack wired the same way.
