Default e-maxx motors?

has any one tryed using 2 e-maxx motors? i know they have alot of torque but is it enough? im using 9 tooth pinions also

a buddy of mine used them on his TXT. they worked OK, a bit fast for what we do and the extra wheel speed tended to break axle shafts if they got bound up while the tires where at speed, too much shock i guess
