Default Is the brown wire the same as black.

On the lead that goes from the receiver pack to the receiver there is a brown and red wire, with one socket in the connector that fastens in the receiver without a cable. The red wire is in the middle. Does the brown wire go to the same side as the black wires in the remainder of the receiver?

I have tried it both ways and it does work. However I just wondered is there a paticular side that it has to go.

Thanks

Yep, brown should be the negative. Put it where the black should be.

Thankyou Unholy.

I thought that was correct. What confused me was that it worked both ways round.

Thanks once again
