Default idea for water proofing servo

i was just woundering if anyone has tried or heard of people melting candle wax on the inside of their servo to water proof it? didnt know if it would ruin electronics inside or somthing. i have searched and i found people use plasti dip for this but they said it will restrict heat and cause servo life to be less. thanks

plastidip is good for servos that normally dont get warm.

ive had so much trouble with water in servos myself. to seal the gear case just pack it with vaseline and no more rustly gears or water getting in through the motor. to seal the board area put in some vaseline and close it up, on the outside run over the edges with some caulking.
