Default At my wits end......help!

Alright I have burned up two servos ever sense I installed my new CC BEC, I run ae-2, AR-3, 55t motor, and a 6cell venom, the servos that burned tactic TSx45, then a 220oz traxxas. What in the world??? Could it be the BEC??

5.5, the first servo then was told 5.5v wasn't enough for the 220oz and to turn it up to 6.5v for the second one

What type of rig are you running the servo on and about how much does it weight

Might be time to step up to a better servo 300+ oz, hitec, savox, ect..

You're not running both the separate bec and the one from the esc at the same time are you?

I'd guess you overworked those servos cause they're not all that strong/great, and fried them. So now you're ~$50 in the hole, and need another. This time, get a good one. Of course you don't have to take my advice but I've been there before. As have many others.

Make sure the steering stuff isn't all bound up. If you can check the output voltage of the BEC with a voltmeter.

It can only be all of a few things.

I've had a stock Tactic die on me, along with a Traxxas 2075 out of the blue. Also, make sure your end points are set correctly and the servo isn't binding itself. That's 100% guaranteed to prematurely kill your servo if you find it trying to still turn while your steering is maxed out.

Yeah, it was trying to continue turning even after I let go of my controler, it did it twice and the last time it fried out

Depending on what radio you have then, if its the stock Axial radio, you have to use a dial to turn the steering dual rate down.
