Dropped my radio while it was in its case, landed with the radio upside down on the case. Antenna hit first and flexed just enough to crack the LCD screen. I have 3 boats, and 6 crawlers on this radio. I HAVE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE IT. Cant see any of the screen at all. Radio still works fine on the last model I was using. No way to change the settings or switch model memory without getting lost in the menu. I have searched all over looking for a new LCD screen... anybody know were to find one ? |

Or, I'm wondering if the model memory module is on a board that can be easily swapped into a new one? My scroll button went goofy a while ago. Always wondered as I have about 8 models saved on mine. But I never really dug into it to see what's up.

you have to send it to horizon to get the screen replaced... the new radios have a spot for micro sd card, i think you can back up everything to it...... maybe a new radio is in order........ Last edited by roksloski; 10-24-2015 at 11:36 AM. |

Horizon was suppose to call me back, they didn't lol. This is a radio I use for my bashers and boats since I have 15 rxs for it I don't really know want to change them all over to my Futaba tx. Maybe I should as I have two 4pl radios for the comp rigs just I case one of them broke, doh should have dropped one of them haha
