Default Programming help with the yeti XL axial ESC help?

Ok so I accidentally held down my throttle while trying to take off with my yeti XL and I haven't been able to find any thing in the manual on how to program my axial esc for the yeti. I now don't have reverse can any one post a link to the specific stock esc so I can get it programmed and going the right way?

Any help is appreciated. Normally I run nitro. This is my first big scale electric that I have had these problems with. It has like nine different settings with sub settings.

I went to a the axial site and found this but it doesn't get very technical beyond the simple set up.

Where are the guys who "know stuff"? Or did I post in the wrong section per chance?

Held down the throttle while taking off? Not sure how that will cause you to reprogram your settings. Do you have a lhs you can go by? They should have a castle link to hook up and change your setting or you can buy a castle link and do it yourself.

You can manually change the settings by holding the throttle and turning it on (but xl doesnt have on/off switch and also uses 2 batterys so that will be hard) and if it got the same programming as a mamba max pro then you look that up on YouTube and go that route but its a pain.

Last option is to call axial and see if they can give you the programming list.

Yeah when I plugged in the trucks batteries it was probably searching for the radio. So it hadn't linked up.

I turned on my radio, plugged in my batteries the squeeze the trigger, I held it long enough I guess to send it in to the esc programming mode. It does the series of beeps, then another set and the red led on the esc blinks. Then when you let go it goes into the beeps with pauses to tell you what options your in. Like; beep, pause, beep- is option 1-1. And so on. I got reverse back by just squeezing the throttle at every option and now I'm not sure if I have the esc set to shut off for my lipo's.

I would go to your lhs and see if they can hook up your esc to castle link or buy one and do it your self.

Ok, thanks I just figured some one here would be able to let me know how to do it. It seems easy enough to figure out I just don't know what each forward and reverse of the trigger is programming the esc to do.

It must be a new system if none of you guys/gals know lol.

Kinda like what this kid is doing but I seem to have more options with my esc.

Call axial and see if the programming is the same as a mamba max pro then you can look that up to find out the programming options.

Yes the xl esc is newer, and the xl isnt super popular and I doubt there are a lot of people buying a brand new axial esc (which would come with manual) so thats why you cant find any info.

Yeah that's kinda along the lines I was thinking as well. It's just so off the shelf (new) no one or not many have any experience with it.

I just read through the Max's pdf and it's a different set up entirely. Crap, maybe I'll just buy the big traxxas one and replace it all together, then at least I'll get that neat steering self correction thing.

Hopefully when my Xmaxx comes in I'll have a easier time with it lol.

I just ended up buying the castle programming cord at my LHS. Also put half down towards the Xmaxx so the yeti might just get some alone time next week. All I'll need now is some snow and I'll be all set.

Thanks for the help and directions guys. It did help for sure.
