Default RX not getting signal

I've got a TEKIN micro RX 75mhz AM that all of a sudden isn't receiving a signal. Is it possible to fix it? Anyone know. I know Tekin is gone so sending it back isn't going to happen.

The first thing I would do is swap the xtal out with a known working one.

Wow, apparently, I tried some other xtals and nothing. Then I split the case and but it on again. and turned the xtal 180* and it works. ???? I didn't think xtals were directional.
This is for my HPI RS4 Rally car. One of my favorite RC's. Its all wheel drive halls ass and slides around corners.
Then I took it to a park with long wide gravel trails. I had a lot of fun drifting it around dirt roads. Anyone else into Rally?
