What voltage rx pack are you running? And do you notice a big difference in run times?

I don't think you will get anymore power, maybe a little extra runtime depending on your servos current draw.

I would try a 6 volt Rx pack(or servo regulator) with that set up, just because of the digital servo. I ran a Rebel 2 with a 645 and a 985 with no problems. Now that I am running the 985 and a 5955 digital, the BEC won't like that very much. I am installing a servo regulator as soon as the brown truck shows up. I decided to use a regulator so I wouldn't have to mess with multiple batteries.

Running an 8 cell main pack will reduce the BEC to less than 3 amps. If you use a 6 cell main pack you probably wont need an RX pack. If you are set on running 8 cells, keep the ESC switch in the off position and use a 5 cell RX pack of any cell type.
