confusion about HH BLE ESC

ok so basically i have a 3300kv holmes motor and ble esc, the sensor wire will not stay plugged into the ESC no matter what i do, every time my wraith rolls or falls off rocks even 6 inch falls the wire pops out
has anyone else experienced this? im tempted to glue the damn thing in its that annoying
also when the sensor wire is out if you slowly add throttle as slowly as you possibly can, when you just start getting to the range where its trying to take off the whole car stutters really bad and struggles to take off, im pretty sure this is called cogging and is normal when the cable is out, however even when it is in, it still does it quite a fair bit

i run 32p gears and i cant remember the gearing off the top of my head but its basically the biggest spur i could fit in the cover and the smallest pinion that would reach the spur
are these motors meant to cog even with the sensor wire in and geared right down?

Sounds like it may not be seated fully. Be sure nothing is in the port, and use a little screwdriver to press the plug in fully.

When the wire falls out you have to reboot the esc to get back in sensored mode.

ah ok that makes sense, to be honest i havent driven the car in a while so i will try that next time i have it out, thanks for getting back to me

also while i've got you attention thanks for making awesome motors and electronics haha, since changing to holmes gear i will never run anything else
