| Holmes Hobbies CrawlMaster Pro 13T question
Hello, I am looking for a brushed motor to give my RR10 Bomber some more speed. It comes with a 35T and wanted to go with a Holmes Hobbies CrawlMaster Pro 13T if it will give me more wheel speed? I assume it will but would like some feedback. Thanks Last edited by desertdude; 04-04-2016 at 02:38 PM. |

Yes. It would. If your running a 2s you could go to 3s to get more wheel speed and faster. __________________________ 1.9 Ibex tuber - The Merica ibex. |

If your looking for speed I would not suggest a Crawlmaster 13t, while they are excellent motors I consider them more of a crawling, comp style precision motor. It will offer more wheel speed than the 35t but I'd go with a 27t Torquemaster in a Bomber if you want to stay brushed, your best option would be a Puller Pro 3500kv if you wanted to go brushless.

I would suggest keeping it. Better low speed control, better brush wear, and more speed than a 27t torquemaster. While the crawlmaster is comp bred, it doesn't make it less fun! I personally don't run torquemaster motors in a single rig. If its brushed, its crawlmaster.

So how much more wheel speed? I'm a newbie here, but from my limited (and quite possibly wrong) knowledge, I would assume over twice the wheel speed? 13t x 2= 26t? I robbed the ESC, RX/TX from my bomber for another project because I want to upgrade the bomber any how. How much more wheel speed would we be talking by going with the pro puller 3500kv? Its just a little more speed. The Crawlmaster is 5 slot and the turn count isn't directly comparable. 3500kv would be about twice as fast as stock, if not faster. |
